The International Design Award Baden-Württemberg FOCUS OPEN is one of the most prestigious German design competitions with an international orientation. Due to its moderate entry requirements, it is particularly attractive for small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, and solo entrepreneurs to have their innovative design solutions or service concepts evaluated by an independent jury.

Opening of the new Wehrhahn line subway
An extraordinary collaborative effort by a team of engineers, architects, artists, craftsmen and representatives of the city of Düsseldorf has been achieved - a new 3.4 kilometer long subway line with six stations in the center of Düsseldorf. All stations are equipped with REC grooved plates - also in yellow.

New Balance Store

Bachl blind guidance systems in cooperation with REC Bauelemente
The company Karl Bachl Betonwerke GmbH & Co. KG began producing guide plates for the blind using the wetcast process in June 2016. The proven quality of REC components is offered in the most economical production process at market-driven prices. Thin concrete tiles from 15 mm will continue to be produced in Berlin at REC Bauelemente.
