Betonlith-Light
Betonlith LIGHT is an innovation on the international market.
It is a lightweight to ultra-lightweight exposed concrete panel for interior fit-outs, architecture, and commercial projects.
Betonlith-LIGHT is a genuine, homogeneous exposed concrete. Its minimalist aesthetic and tactile quality are characteristic of the material. The surfaces possess a lively material character.
Beton-LIGHT is lightweight and—even in its ultra-light version—offers good strength for all applications in non-structural areas. Large panel formats are possible with minimal material thicknesses of just 15–20 mm.
The design possibilities are diverse, featuring smooth or textured surfaces, as well as minerals and color pigments. Examples include material branding for the Strellson concept store, the Marc Cain store concept, and New Balance flagship stores.
The development of the mix design
is based on the technology of self-compacting concretes containing lightweight aggregates.
Material selection focuses primarily on lightweight materials derived from recycling.
The manufacturing method employed is casting. The molds are produced according to the desired product. The surfaces can be designed to be flat or to feature specific, intentional textures.
A protective impregnation is sprayed onto surfaces subject to use.
The casting process is suitable for small and large production runs and allows for an economical workflow.

The application for Beton-LIGHT
Beton-LIGHT is elemental, almost archaic in nature, presents itself in a truly purist form alongside all other materials, and is compelling. In concrete gray, in black, in white. But playful forms are also conceivable. A great deal of freedom is offered to the imagination.
The positive material properties are fascinating:
Natural, authentic, appealing, and fresh—Beton-LIGHT doesn't burn, has no odor, is easy to handle, and isn't too heavy. It feels familiar and comfortable. It ages gracefully, much like stone, wood, or glass.
It is just as suitable for residential applications as it is for commercial projects, industry, and shopfitting; furthermore, Beton-LIGHT offers all the advantages required for drywall construction.
The very fact that it is non-combustible and non-toxic, combined with its adaptability in terms of size and design, makes this material ideally suited for use in public buildings, commercial projects, shipbuilding, container construction, shopfitting, and interior furnishings.
